I’m thrilled to report that Boningale Garden Creations passed a recent audit by the Association of Professional Landscapers, which all members must undergo to retain accreditation by this trusted body.
Our team came through with flying colours, and we were described by the independent inspector as “an excellent contractor, with good design facilities, high quality workmanship and well managed customer care and safety procedures”.
All members undergo a rigorous inspection process each year to ensure they are meeting the high standards exacted by the APL, which are necessary to earn the Trustmark this inspection allows us to display.
The audit is carried out on-site at an ongoing landscaping project, and covers every aspect of the job, from legal obligations such as health and safety, paper work, insurance, risk assessments and terms and conditions, to technical competence, hard and soft landscaping, and customer care.
It certainly is a thorough examination – everything from the health of plants to choice of patio materials and tidiness of brickwork comes under scrutiny, along with the equipment we use, where we store it, and our knowledge of dealing with waste management.
The issue of minimising disruption to our clients is given lots of consideration too, which is only right when you are working at someone’s home. From parking our vehicles, to how tidy we keep the site and how clearly we communicate with clients, it’s all included in the inspection.
The Association makes the confident claim that every customer who deals with an APL certified landscaper will receive the highest quality landscaping in Britain, which means our clients can be confident of receiving a first-class service, however large or small the job is.
